INTO THE MIND - SYNOPSIS
The new film by Sherpas Cinema
This is a story of rising to the ultimate challenge. Having the courage to risk fatal exposure and the
perseverance demanded on the quest for achievement. These are not solely physical feats, they are
mental conquests.
From the creators of the award winning film “All.I.Can”, Sherpas Cinema is proud to present their newest
feature film, Into The Mind. With stunning cinematography and groundbreaking storytelling techniques, the
Sherpas blur the lines between dream state and reality, and immerse you into the mind of a common skier
as he attempts to climb and ski the ultimate mountain. Innovative athlete segments are actually a glimpse
into his dreamscape, each one harboring messages that help inform our hero’s current, real-life choices.
As you experience the majesty of Alaska, Bolivia, the Himalaya and beyond, Into the Mind paints a
philosophical portrait of human kind. How do we balance risk versus reward? Why are we inspired to rise
to the challenges in our lives and what do we learn on this journey to attain them?

Since humans discovered how to harness fire over 200,000 years ago, there has been a steady evolution in how we have generated energy for ourselves. From wood, to coal, to oil, to whatever's next, this is one perspective on where we've been and where we may be headed...

"The Evolution of Fire" is Part 1 of the 2 part series "Embracing the Sun"

Gather up some shred buddies and lets do this! TanSnowMan spins some slushy spring laps with Pebble Creek (a.k.a. "The Rock") locals Bo Ferro, Matt Tsakrios, Lee Swassing, and a few other cats last week during the closing weekend at the SouthEast Idaho ski area.

Local riders Bo Ferro, Matt Tsakrios, and TanSnowMan get into some dirty skiing on terrain that is rarely skied at Pebble Creek Ski Area (a.k.a. "The Rock") during the last week of the season at the South East Idaho ski hill.

TanSnowMan sums up the day's action in a ski-skewered Hunter S. Thompson quote:

"Skiing should not be a journey to the bottom with the intention of arriving with skis unscathed and and edges in perfect condition, but rather to clatter in broadside in a swoosh of slush, thoroughly amped up, totally stoked out and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a slide!"

In other words, No Sissy Footin' Around...

Disclaimer: The terrain in this video is in atypical of Pebble Creek Ski Area and is rarely skied, particularly in these conditions. This footage in no way should represent skiing at Pebble Creek Ski area. However, it does demonstrate how badass skiing at Pebble Creek can be.

Last Summer's Charlotte Wildfire in Pocatello, Idaho claimed 66 homes and 89 outlying buildings. The home of TanSnowMan's family was spared from the blaze, but his Step-father's shop with all of his tools was not so fortunate. Now, as the neighborhood rebuilds, Panda Poles finds a new home in the freshly scorched juniper hills of SouthEast Idaho, and TanSnowMan returns to his roots in the Bannock Range...

Only 27 days before, TanSnowMan didn't know whether or not he'd ever walk again. Now, he relives that fateful moment with the rock that he thought almost ended his career, and rehabs his broken hip at his home ski area --"The Rock" (Pebble Creek, ID).
