Wow! It seems like we got the inspiration for our magic ski wands decades ago, and it is a total time-warp to know that we are just barely comin' up on the 3rd anniversary of the launch of our website. Although we originally intended to launch PandaPoles.com on 1/11/11 we didn't go live until 1/18/11, but we never looked back.

Our message and product has sprouted from just a far fetched idea into an internationally recognize brand, supported by world champions and some of skiing's greatest. It hasn't been an easy path. It was not a mellow process of designing a product, website, and tribe of passionate athletes and customers. It has taken immense dedication and a team of designers, photographers, skiers, and most importantly, customers who put their faith in our zany little brand.

As our gift to ourselves and our customers, we have implemented a few new website features which we feel will help more deeply connect our customers to our product and spirit:

With 1,170 different possibilities of customization, Panda Poles are some of the most customizable products in the snow sports industry. All these options can create a confusing image of what your poles will look like. We wanted to give our customers a better glimpse of what they will be receiving by adding a changing image to our customizer, which reflects the pole options selected. Get creative on our  "BUY" page, and play around with all of the potential combos!

Another page which we have been working on for a few seasons is our "TRIBE" page. Rather than a team of athletes, we feel that our athletes make up a group more consistent with the energy of a Tribe. Our athletes represent much more than our products. They represent a vibration which courses through every bit of our organization. They uphold the same love for their sport and Earth that the creators of Panda Poles embedded into the DNA of this company. And through their selfless dedication to our brand, our athletes and customers have spread our message further than we ever expected this quickly. So, after 2 years in the making, we present to you "THE PANDA TRIBE"

There are many more website changes slated for the coming months, including a new sizing guide and shop locator. We will be sure to keep you in the loop about all of our changes, and we hope to get some feedback about the most recent changes as well. Please feel free to drop us a line anytime at tansnowman@pandapoles.com about your ideas and feedback.

We send a massive thanks to our web designer Lisa Bella Dae and web programmer Kate Colgan for not only meeting the deadline for these changes, but for creating such a beautiful and well thought out interface. It's absolutely beautiful! Another huge thanks goes out to the people behind the scenes who have made this company what it is: Oakley White-Allen, Sander Hadley, Angel Collinson, Chuck Mumford, Mama Mopho, Mati Imbert, Mark Abma, Drew Tabke,  Shayne Metos, Weston Hall, Christian Overson, Tai Robinson, and Johnny Anetsberger. Big ups to all of our athletes for lending us their photos, videos, and hearts. And most of all, thanks to our customers, for without you, there would be no us.

Aho!

Featuring Panda athletes Mark Abma, Julian Carr, and Panda High Council Member Angel Collinson (who has helped manufacture Panda Poles), this film travels the world on an cinematographic exploration of the human mind and how confronting deadly situations can blur the edges of reality and a dream state... Panda Poles is honored to share with the community of Pocatello--the skier's of Pebble Creek ("The Rock")--in this cultural event at Portneuf Valley Brewing (615 S. 1st Ave), on Saturday, November 9, 2013, with doors opening at 4PM for the first show and 6PM for the second screening. This is an all ages event with raffle prizes including gear from Barrie's Ski & Sports, and a pair of Panda Poles given away at both screenings.
INTO THE MIND - SYNOPSIS
The new film by Sherpas Cinema
This is a story of rising to the ultimate challenge. Having the courage to risk fatal exposure and the
perseverance demanded on the quest for achievement. These are not solely physical feats, they are
mental conquests.
From the creators of the award winning film “All.I.Can”, Sherpas Cinema is proud to present their newest
feature film, Into The Mind. With stunning cinematography and groundbreaking storytelling techniques, the
Sherpas blur the lines between dream state and reality, and immerse you into the mind of a common skier
as he attempts to climb and ski the ultimate mountain. Innovative athlete segments are actually a glimpse
into his dreamscape, each one harboring messages that help inform our hero’s current, real-life choices.
As you experience the majesty of Alaska, Bolivia, the Himalaya and beyond, Into the Mind paints a
philosophical portrait of human kind. How do we balance risk versus reward? Why are we inspired to rise
to the challenges in our lives and what do we learn on this journey to attain them?
