Think of it as a portal into the DNA of our brand. Looking back, I know some of these edits lean into the cringe—and yes, some definitely run longer than they probably should. But each one holds a piece of the history of the Panda Poles. Picture this: Full moon. February 21, 2008. TanSnowMan is outside at his house at the base of Little Cottonwood, staring at the sky, when bam—spirit shows up. And from the clouds descend these ski poles. Not just any poles. Bamboo wands with cone-shaped baskets, samurai-length grips, and straps that looked like they were stitched by mountain monks. They weren’t just tools. They were a message. A mission. And the Panda Chief couldn’t unsee it. The feeling was clear: Make these. Make them for the people. Fast forward through a decade of building, dreaming, and skiing—and then, 2020 hits. We had to pause Panda. Close up shop. But deep down, we knew the spirit hadn’t left the building. It was just... regrouping. And here's the truth: without the support, love, and sheer stoke of our community—the Panda Tribe—this rebirth wouldn’t be happening. You held the vision with us. You kept the spark alive. And it’s thanks to you that Panda gets to rise again. Now here we are, Earth Day 2025. And guess what? The Phoenix hath risen. The spirit of Panda is alive and well—quirky as ever, but wiser now. And we're stoked to introduce a new, leveled-up version of our beloved Magic Ski Wands for the 2025/2026 season. We’re talking: redesigned Panda Cone baskets, bamboo from what might be the most enchanted grove on Earth, and dreamy new straps that’ll hug your hands like a good friend. We could ramble on and on about details, but instead, we’ll leave you with our first-ever video: Play With The Mountain, from back in December 2010.
